Program Features


Perrella Gallery
Since its inception in 1999, the Perrella Gallery on the FMCC campus has become one of the pre-eminent exhibition spaces in our region.

Student Art Guild Club
Promote visual fine arts on campus and in the community through the hosting exhibitions, field trips and creative projects.

Graphic Arts and Photography Club
Students design logos, flyers and use their studio photography skills to help with design projects on campus and with local not-for-profit groups.

Individual Studies Advisor
Students will be assigned an academic advisor to guide you through your program.

Special Admission Requirements

Program placement is competitive and determined by the student’s personal interview with the Individual Studies Advisor and the Director of External Partnerships and Applied Learning, as well as site availability.

Internship Opportunities

Although similar to cooperative education and internship programs, the Individual Studies Certificate program requires that students learn basic career skills at job sites without pay.
