Voter Information
Register! Enroll! Vote!
Voter Registration is the legal requirement you must complete to vote in any local, state, or national election. You cannot vote if not registered.
Voter Enrollment refers to the requirement of indicating a party preference on the registration ballot so you will be eligible to vote in that party’s primary election. Remember that enrollment in a party does not disqualify you from voting for any candidate of any party once the general election is held. Enrollment pertains to primaries.
Primary election: Candidates in one party run against one another. The winner becomes that party’s candidate to run against the opposition party in the General Election. Don’t miss out on this important selection process in the party of your choice.
