2+2 Dual Admission

The Dual Admission program allows you to be enrolled at Fulton Montgomery Community College and selected colleges and universities at the same time. You get simultaneous student benefits at two institutions, increased financial incentives and a simplified process for making every credit count toward a Bachelor degree.

What Makes FMCC Dual Admission with UAlbany a great choice academically?
  • Simultaneous admission to FMCC and UAlbany
  • A streamlined, single-application admission process for both schools
  • As a dual admit student, you’ll receive a UAlbany identification card, which grants you access to use the UAlbany library, attend athletic events, and to participate in UAlbany student activities at UAlbany campuses and other locations.
  • UAlbany’s academic departments will periodically contact you to provide opportunities to meet faculty and students, participate in departmental activities and become familiar with the UAlbany community.
  • You may also take a cross-registered course in your program of study on-campus at UAlbany in either your second or third semester at SUNY FMCC.
  • You’ll also receive priority on-campus housing (this must be requested prior to May 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester).
  • Early registration for UAlbany classes during the semester before junior year
  • Guaranteed transfer to UAlbany as long as you maintain coursework, grade point and admissions requirements

  • UAlbany is committed to enrolling students with superior ability and proven achievement. If you complete all your SUNY FMCC degree requirements with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, you’ll be guaranteed a UAlbany Transfer Merit Scholarship.
