Matthew Cole has begun his one-year term as student trustee to the SUNY-Fulton-Montgomery Community College Board of Trustees.
Mattew, a non-traditional adult learner enrolled in the AAS Addition Services major, is very active in service to the College. He serves the Student Senate Association as current student trustee and past treasurer, a representative for the Pathways Club, past and current member of Student Life committee, selected student member of the campus Safety committee and member of CSTEP, just to name some of his many involvement activities. He also has served as a volunteer for FMCC New student orientations and other campus welcoming events.
Matthew completed his micro credential in Chemical Abuse Counseling May 2024 and has been named to the college Dean’s List for academic success. He is also currently participating in the Smart Money Pathway program.
Matthew is an Amsterdam NY resident who spends time with his family members in the area and enjoys taking advantage of all that FMCC has to offer. He is a second-year student set to graduate in 2025.
