Jason has been at the college since 1999, and teaches a variety of classes in the fields of Theater, English, Film, and Art.  He was key member of the group that spearheaded the major renovation of the Rao Theater in 2019, a venue in which he has directed over 50 productions.  Jason founded and coordinates the college’s A.A.S. degree in Entertainment Technology, a program that combines course work and practical work in live production, film/video, audio, and interactive media.  He works closely with local arts organizations such as Proctors Theater in Schenectady and The Rep in Albany.  In January 2018, Jason participated in a TEDxFMCC event, delivering a talk called Life of Theater: Low Tech/High Tech.  He has served as chair to the Humanities Division and has participated in numerous committees over the years.
