Eileen brings a lot of experience to her role as both the Director and Assistant Professor. Alongside her time at FMCC, she has worked in a Level 1 Trauma Center for 30 years, primarily in Critical Care: Surgical, Neurological, and Cardiac. Eileen is passionate about nursing and inspiring others interested in the profession.
In her free time Eileen likes to do anything that involves animals and the outdoors. She loves to travel, and her trips have include hiking the Cascades, Adirondacks, White Mountains, Katahdin, biking in Acadia, and horseback riding in Ireland.

James Stasack started at FMCC in January 2024 as our new Nursing Simulation/Lab Coordinator. James has been with St Mary's Healthcare over the last 11 years in varying roles as an ER RN for 9 years, Staff Educator for 5 years and most recently the last 2 years as Manager of the Continuing Education department. James is also a licensed paramedic for the last 15 years and was also an EMT prior. Outside of work James spends a lot of time on crafts, mostly metalworking and stained glass.

Jessie is an experienced nursing instructor known for her commitment to nursing education and her background in healthcare. Jessie's teaching portfolio includes courses such as Nursing Science III, IV and Pharmacology. She is the advisor of the Student Nursing Association. Her professional journey has been defined by her roles in Adult Medical/Surgical, and Labor/Delivery. Her hands-on experience in these areas has not only honed her clinical skills but has also provided valuable real-world insights that she enthusiastically imparts to her students. She implements simulation technology to create immersive and interactive learning environments that bridge the gap between theory and practice. Her teaching philosophy centers on the belief that hands-on experiences are paramount to developing the clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence essential for nursing practice. Beyond her teaching duties, Jessie remains dedicated to advancing nursing practices and improving patient care with her involvement in professional organizations. In her free time, Jessie enjoys camping, hiking, watching college softball, attending sporting events, and spending time with her dog Skye.

Professor Karlyn LaBate brings a wealth of expertise to our community college as a respected member of the Diagnostic Imaging community. Professor LaBate has a passion for the intersection of art and science. She brings knowledge from three post primary imaging modalities to the classroom.
With a focus on applied imaging techniques, she is dedicated to preparing students for careers in diagnostic imaging. Her hands-on approach, coupled with industry insights, provides students with practical skills and a deep understanding of imaging technologies.
Beyond the classroom, Professor LaBate actively collaborates with local industry partners, ensuring that her curriculum remains current and relevant to the demands of the field. Her commitment to student success is reflected in her mentorship approach, guiding students through clinical experiences, and career pathways. Her favorite part of teaching is the connection with students and alumni.

Kullen Bailey is a SUNY FMCC alumnus and graduated from the Radiologic Technology program at FMCC in 2014. He has been a part of the medical imaging community for about 10 years. 2023 is his eighth-year teaching as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Radiologic Technology program here at FMCC. The courses his teaches on campus are Radiographic Physics I, Radiographic Physics II, Radiographic Positioning Labs, Radiographic Image Quality and Advanced Radiographic Procedures II.
Kullen also oversee all the Clinical Experience courses in the program. Aside from teaching on campus, he works as a Radiologic Technologist in the CT Scan and X-Ray department at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam to keep my skills as a technologist current. He admires every aspect of medical imaging from patient care and image evaluation to working collaboratively in groups with other members of the health care team to provide an excellent patient experience. He enjoys teaching Radiologic Technology because he likes witnessing students think critically and solve problems both in the classroom and clinical environment. It is exciting to see the students as they progress from student radiographers to licensed Radiologic Technologists.
Kullen's educational background includes a Master of Science degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology through SUNY Albany, a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services with a Concentration in Healthcare Administration through SUNY Empire State College and an Associate in Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology from SUNY Fulton-Montgomery Community College.

Lisa Rendina started at FMCC in January 2024 as our newest Nursing Faculty addition. Lisa has been with Belanger School of Nursing as an Academic Advisor and Nursing Instructor for the last 2 years. Prior to Belanger, Lisa spent 14 years at Stony Brook Children's Hospital in multiple roles as a Teaching and Research Nurse, Nurse Educator and a Nurse Specialist/Administrator. Lisa has also been an adjunct faculty member as a Nursing Clinical Instructor with Stony Brook University for 8 years. For rest and relaxation, Lisa enjoys the beach, camping by the lake, line dancing and yoga. She is a busy mom of 2 that are active in the Boy and Girl Scouts, as well as sports every season. Both Lisa and her husband are active in the EMS world and give back to their communities serving as an American Heart Association BLS Instructor and volunteer fire fighter respectively.
