Aidan Wholihan recently came onboard as our full-time LPP Coordinator in January 2024. Aidan joined our team previously as a part-time LPP Student Success Coach. Aidan earned his BA in Studio Art from Hartwick College. During his time at Hartwick, he was the Vice President of Wicked Esports. He has also served as a volunteer Assistant Junior Varsity Coach for Johnstown High School. Aidan enjoys hiking to abandoned fire towers and reading ancient books such as The Art of War.

Andrea Hernigle is the CSTEP Coordinator at FMCC, whose aim is to build a supportive community of students in STEM careers as well as several licensed professions. Prior to her career at FMCC, she worked as an Adult Literacy Educator with HFM BOCES for 6 years. Andrea received a Master of Science in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from SUNY Albany, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education / Earth Science Concentration from St. Rose. She is also the owner of Family Traditions Christmas Tree Farm in Fultonville. As an Adirondack native of Tupper Lake, Andrea enjoys hiking, kayaking, and camping in her spare time, as well as downhill skiing and spending time with family and friends.

Colleen Sanders (she/her) is an Assistant Professor and the Coordinator of Academic Tutoring and Information Literacy at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She completed an MA and BA in English from the College of Saint Rose, with a focus in eighteenth-century women’s literature, and an AS in Business Administration from Hudson Valley Community College. She currently leads tutoring and student support initiatives and has taught ENG 040, ENG 103, and ENG 104 at FMCC. Colleen is an advocate for student success at the community college and outside of work, you can find her reading, cooking, weight training, and spending time with family and her Corgis, Jett and Brody.

Dana Burden, started employment at FMCC in Fall 2021. She currently works as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for Liberty Partnerships Program. Dana has worked in the mental health field for over 8 years in both clinical and non-clinical settings. She has spent years working with children of all ages, and is currently enjoying her work with high school students.
Dana earned an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and a B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Oswego.

Katherine Norman is the Coordinator of Accessibility, Counseling and Alternative Testing Services at FMCC. For the past year, Kathy was an Equal Opportunity Specialist with the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). Previously, she served as the Director of Accessibility Services at Russell Sage for more than 21 years. Prior to that, Kathy has held administrative and faculty positions at Siena College, Fulton County, Empire State College, and St. Mary's Hospital.

Kelly Hamilton started at FMCC in March 2024 as our new LPP Counselor. She is now as of August 2024 our LPP Director. Kelly is a graduate of Castleton University and recently relocated to Cobleskill with her family. For the last 7 years, Kelly has been a Middle School Adjustment Counselor for the Springfield International Charter School and Wilbraham Middle School in Massachusetts. In her free time, Kelly likes to hike and backpack.

Marcia Christain started at FMCC in January 2024 as our new Coordinator of Retention. Over the last 10 years Marcia has worked for SUNY Cobleskill in various positions. She served as an Instructor for 9 years, an International Education Assistant and most recently over the last year she has been the Educational Opportunities Program Counselor. Marcia is originally from South Dakota and a huge fan of the color pink. She loves Stephen King novels and has a goal to read them all.

Meghan Druziak is an experienced student affairs professional, skilled in student development, retention, academic advising, game management and marketing.
She currently serves as a TRIO Academic Advisor at Fulton Montgomery Community College. She started her career at FM in 2012 as a campus activities assistant. Since then, she has she has held various positions in campus involvement, student success and retention. Meg also manages the FMCC Athletics website and social media.
Meg is driven by meeting students where they are and seeing them succeed. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from SUNY Brockport and a master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine.

Michelle serves as the Academic Advisor - Grant Student Engagement Specialist and is part of the TRIO team at SUNY FMCC. She is an academic advisor for students that are part of the TRIO program as well as the general population and is responsible for identifying grant eligible students and supporting them throughout their time at FM . She also is a member of the Student Sucess Team and helps plan special events for students.
Michelle has worked in Higher Education for 20 plus years in various roles to support and retain students.
Michelle has a Associates Degree from SUNY Schenectady in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Public Managment from SUNY POLY , where she was a student leader and found her passion for working on a college campus. She also has a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. Michelle enjoys working with students and helping them find a career path.

Pam McCall started at FMCC in October 2023 as the Associate Dean of Retention, Success and Opportunity Grants. Pam was previously with SUNY Schenectady County Community College for the last nine years. Pam served as the Interim Dean of Academic Affairs for the last year and a half. She also held the position of Director of College & High School Partnerships and was also a Site Coordinator. Prior to that, Pam held administrative positions at Edgewood and Skidmore Colleges. Pam grew up on the island of Puerto Rico and currently manages/coaches her daughters' 8U travel softball team and serves as President of the PTA.

Suzanne earned her Master’s in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from SUNY Albany and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a concentration in Science from SUNY Plattsburgh.She worked for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (BH-BL) Central School for thirteen years, first as a K-12 Substitute Teacher, then as a HS Teaching Assistant. Prior to working for BH-BL, Suzanne was an Intermediate Teacher for grades 3-6 at Piseco Common School for three years. Suzanne's hobbies include spending time outdoors with her family (husband, three teenage children and two black Labrador Retrievers) and hiking NY's High Peaks as an aspiring Adirondack 46er. With her interest in the sciences, particularly environmental, she thoroughly enjoys planning activities and inspiring Fulton and Montgomery County students in grades 7-12 as a STEP (Science & Technology Entry Program) Specialist.
